I began my personal exploration of tarot at a time when I was adrift. My career had sputtered out into a stalemate, lacking inspiration and direction after falling short of a longtime professional goal. Personally, I was rattled by loss and was profoundly uncertain about what the future would hold. I desperately needed something, maybe comfort, maybe guidance, maybe just a mirror for self-reflection.

I had heard that it was bad luck (or forbidden?) to buy yourself your first tarot deck. But I figured the universe would have a hard time making my luck any worse than it already was, so I ignored this phantom restriction (which I know now to be a fake rule, in case you yourself are holding off on buying your first deck) and bought my first deck. Tarot did not solve my problems for me, but gave me the tools for me to solve them for myself.
I studied the tarot under Naha Armady of 22 Teachings in Los Angeles. I remain a student of the school and continue to learn under Naha and the faculty of 22 Teachings. I also consider myself a student of the universe and continue to explore esotericism and the tarot through my own self-study. I decided to become a reader as a way to connect with people and continue to learn about the world through the lens of the cards.
I am a lawyer by day, and reading tarot is something I do because I love it. I am also queer, a wife, and a mom to one perfect kid and two very imperfect dogs. I love working with queer clients and anyone with a unique life experience.
